THIS COMPUTER AND OPERATING SYSTEM INSTALL IS LESS THAN A WEEK OLD I dont even get to LOG INTO THE APP BEFORE IT CRASHES. i get periodic "not responding" process hangs that last upwards of 3 minutes before the process dies completely or resolves sometimes.Īt this point im on a fresh install of win7 sp1 ultimate with a i9-9900k, on an ssd (tried installing it on a HDD just incase, no dice) and a 980ti, but i can't see how GPU could matter.Īnd within the first 3 seconds of me downloading the app for the first time on a brand new build, with a new operating system, i get this bullshit. I can't even log in because the app crashes, i cant uninstall the client because the uninstaller crashes. it used to be something i could ignore because the client didn't need to be open to play wc3/sc2/wow, but even as long ago as HOTS season 2 (you used to be able to use a process called hots-switcher.exe or something that let you manually log in the client but blizzard decided to prevent us from doing that for reasons) and destiny 2 for instance, i had to stop playing because of these crashes. it was so frustrating that it's one of the several major reasons I've put down blizzard games entirely for the last few years. This has been ongoing on 4 completley different PC's for over 3 years at this point.
I absolutely hate that i have to resort to making a thread for this, but i've had this issue, the client (battlenet desktop app) continuously, and near instantly locks up (stops responding), then crashes at seemingly random intervals, while im logging in, while im idling on the client, while im launching a game, while it's updating, while it's doing nothing, while im chatting, even the fucking bnet uninstaller crashes.
